exhibitions and workshops

Art4Essex are keen to promote art in the local community through exhibitions, events and workshops. We have a social aim based around bringing the community together to discover and enjoy art; regardless of age, gender, skill, education or experience. Art is an important tool for expression, learning, therapy and healing. We use our artistic skills to interact, inspire and promote art in Essex.

Art4Essex support local art groups plus local exhibition and community events, especially fund raising or charity events. Some artists are prepared to donate artwork to charity auctions upon request. To date, we have supported Big Arts Week, Helen Rollason Cancer Heal Charity, ArtsMart at Braintree District Museum, Farleigh Hospice, Lower Moss Wood Wildlife Hospital Charity and Barnardo's. We also exhibit our work in corporate establishments, donating a percentage of works sold to a local charity. Many of our artists provide art workshops and demos.

On the following gallery pages, you will find details of previous community activities and exhibitions involving Art4Essex members. If you would like further information on any of the events or projects or would like to organise a project of your own, please contact the artist concerned through their gallery or use the 'contact us' link below for any other enquiry.
