Michael Cash
Surrealist Artist - figurative and abstract paintings in acrylic
Biography
Michael's introduction into art was seeing a photo of Salvador Dali's "giraffe on fire" in an encyclopedia when he was about 11 years old, almost 30 years ago now! He loves surreal and cubist images and has found surrealism to be a great way to express himself through his paintings.
Michael's paintings are mainly subconscious/dream images or works directly influenced from his love of ancient Egyptian history and art. He expects both to evolve, on his journey that will be interesting to see where it takes him.
Michael is self taught and been painting for 6 years, though he have been drawing for many more years, exhibiting for the first time in October 2007 in a group exhibition called "creative minds 4" at the Dome Gallery, Braintree with the Braintree Rethink carers support group.
