Biography
Kathy's detailed artworks are produced by various working methods. Drawing skills are always of prime concern in her work and to convey texture, pattern and colour she often uses collage and mixed media. Collage is used either to enhance a picture or to build up an intricate and exciting surface through the use of photographs, scraps of material and paper. Her aim is to show abstract details within recognisable subject matter.
Kathy also produces colourful mosaics, jewellery and sculpture and enjoys the contrast in working techniques.
Her work has been shown in Essex, Hertfordshire and also in London in association with The Society of Graphic Fine Art.
