Art4Essex are a group of visual artists based mainly in Essex, England. We also have a growing number of guests from surrounding counties with strong links to Essex who help and support the group in various ways. Art4Essex is part of a growing network of regional art collectives that includes Rogue Gene Collective, The Art Collective Scotland and Pershore Arts.
Art4Essex and their associated regional art collectives are dedicated to helping all artists wherever they may be located.
We aim to change the way that art is viewed by the general public, the ocasional buyer and art collector. We have set ourselves the task of organising regional exhibitions up and down the country, where artists can showcase their work at accessible, cost effective venues. Our main aim is to show actual original art in the public arena so that artist and buyer can network and interact.
Art4Essex are also keen to promote art in the community by taking part in art workshops, demos and charity events. Art4Essex aim to raise the profile of Essex, challenging perceptions of the county whilst promoting Essex as an exciting and vibrant place to live, work and visit particularily in the area of arts and culture.
